As It Happens, Time Isn’t Everything

Given that we now have all the time in the world, I thought that we’d always be able to do all that we wanted. As I am discovering, though, time is not the only limiter. The factor that’s elbowing in now? Temperature. Last night was the second night we spent in the van in temps in the mid-teens. That’s just too cold. So as painful as it is, we’ve got to leave the high desert behind without fully experiencing the area. We will be back, though, as soon as possible, because it is gorgeous here. The few pics I snapped don’t even begin to do it justice.

The pony was blocking the single lane dirt road and the horse was pissed I didn’t give him an apple. We got outta there before things got ugly.

  • I see what you mean about the temps.  Even the native vendors are wearing down vests over their garb!  Stay warm.  It’s been amazingly nice here although nights get cold.  No frost yet but I’m sure it’s close.
