Drink Edward Abbey’s Magic Tea

Edward Abbey’s Magic Tea follows a very simple recipe: brew tea, add Bourbon. It’s delicious. I’ve been having a mug (or two or three) when it cools off along the beach at night. Tastes great in the salty, fresh air. I highly recommend using jasmine tea. No caffeine and the flavors are really great together.

Warning: Not as good in the morning if you let the mug sit out overnight and fail to finish it off after falling asleep while reading in the van you live in down by the river.

Warning #2: Reading Edward Abbey’s books may make you want to go outside, explore, drink Bourbon, or blow up the Glenn Canyon Dam. Ye be warned.

Warning #3: Edward Abbey seemed to be a quantity over quality guy. Evan Williams is exactly the mission whiskey he’d buy.
